Terms of service

Last updated: 5 May 2026

These terms govern your use of the i-dmarc service operated by inoc8 Pty Ltd(“we”), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

1. The service

i-dmarc provides a hosted platform for receiving, parsing, and reporting on DMARC aggregate and forensic reports for domains you own or are authorised to manage. Service availability targets and feature scope depend on the subscription plan you select.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and any multi-factor authentication credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • Monitor or report on domains you do not own or are not authorised to administer.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email or use information from the service to facilitate spam.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other tenants' data or our infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service except where expressly permitted by an MSP plan.
  • Violate applicable South African or international law.

4. Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed in South African rand (ZAR), monthly in advance, via the payment method on file. Prices exclude VAT, which we add where applicable. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice before any price change takes effect. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Free trial

New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial your account will revert to a read-only state until you select a paid plan.

6. Customer data and ownership

You retain all ownership of the data you upload or that the service receives on your behalf. You grant us a limited licence to process that data only as required to operate the service for you. We will not access customer data except to operate, support, or improve the service, or where required by law.

7. Service availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the production dashboard and report-receiving endpoint. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance and is excluded from the availability calculation.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that creates security or legal risk. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure where the issue is curable. On termination we will delete customer data per our retention policy.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any specific outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Privacy

Our processing of personal information is governed by our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
